ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE

I currently serve as a lecturer in the department of Administration of Justice at UH Hilo where I lecture AJ 361 (Advocacy and Criminal Justice) and AJ 363 (Indigenous Justice).

I currently serve as a Hawaiian language and studies specialist focusing on design, development, translation, and research projects.

HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE AND HAWAIIAN STUDIES

I am a demonstrated professional in Hawaiian language and studies research, instruction, translation, and curriculum development. I have served as a Hawaiian Language and Hawaiian Studies instructor with Ka Haka ʻUla College of Hawaiian Language at UH Hilo from 2015 to 2022. In that capacity, I've taught classes in elementary to advanced Hawaiian language, Hawaiian literature, and introductory Hawaiian studies.

HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE CURRICULUM DEVELOPER AND PROJECT MANAGER

I have served as a Hawaiian language curriculum developer, editor, and project manager with Ka Haka ʻUla o Keʻelikōlani from 2018-2022. In that capacity, I led curriculum teams in developing curriculum for Hawaiian language, developed and implemented teaching professional development workshops, and managed high-volume Hawaiian language projects that included curriculum materials and student activities that increase student language and cultural proficiency, use, and application of Hawaiian.
